Meet Jenny

Jenny is a psychotherapist with the State of Colorado. Receiving her Bachelor’s degree from the North Dakota State University. Receiving her Master’s of Science degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix. Receiving her post-masters specialization certification in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Denver Family Institute. Jenny is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Professionals (AAMFT), the Colorado Association for Marriage and Family Professionals (COAMFT), the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp) and serves on the iaedp Denver Chapter as Education Chair. Jenny is also a Kappa Alpha Theta Social Sorority Alumni.

Jenny incorporates a Collaborative, Solutions Focused, Strengths Based Approach to therapy, incorporating aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy into sessions as a way to support coping with the new goals in therapy. Jenny is a clinically trained Marriage and Family Therapist with specialty training in the aspect of Family Systems. Jenny has worked in Eating Disorder specific treatment for the last 15 years, working 7 of those years within the inpatient Eating Disorder setting. This includes working at Rosewood Ranch, the Eating Recovery Center, and Children’s Hospital Colorado. Jenny has worked 8 years in the outpatient private practice setting.

On a personal note, Jenny loves traveling, being active, and outdoors with her husband, and two boys.
